In local private colleges or in local schools, you will see some things are common like Bollywood is so much embedded in the minds of students, staffs, teachers such that the local jokes they crack are almost inspired or directly taken out from the dialogues of the particular bollywood movie but If you see students or teachers talking on the studies is very minimal or in some cases it almost does not exist. The larger part of their discussion has been hijacked by the Bollywood gossips.

Even if some student, staff or teacher just try to explore the study or even try to talk on study on a frequent basis then he has to face some type of discrimination from his colleagues and even in the worst case if he does not able to find out the company of someone of like-minded then he has to live his life in the tenure of school or colleges in the extreme loneliness. People around him will make fun of him with several names pointing at him.

I think since the inception of Televisions, Films, Serials, the Middle class families have been so much influenced by it. As a result of that discussion on studies has been hurt so much in their normal gossipings in the schools or colleges or even at home.

The local books are extensively used in private colleges such as the original foreign author book, very few students dare to touch it and at the 11th hour, these local books help the students to just crack the university exams. The harmful effects of using these local books is that they don't help the student to command the concept at a depth as a result the practical knowledge of the subject is hampered so much.

Your almost whole tenure at college is just spent in reading the Xerox notes provided by your teacher so that you can get good marks by reading only that xerox notes and going back and forth in Xerox shop in your college and wasting your pennies and Nobody will persuade you to just only read the foreign author books.

You will not see any professor doing Research in the Labs as there are no facilities for doing research in the college.

You will see one thing is common that most of the students do the mimicry and make fun of their surroundings which they seem eccentric in terms of personality, behavior, language, accent - that kind of people, I have seen people from School to Tuitions to Coaching Institutes to College to startups to MNCs. Well such people who make fun of others for their entertainment are just in small fractions but they make Groups and Include other people also in their group. So that's why they seem immensely powerful but if you break their group then they individually are just NULL .

At the time of my 11th and 12th class, I have only heard students are preparing for IIT JEE Exam from coaching institutes and It seems like in this world there is no better place or idea greater than IIT JEE Preparation.

The Coaching Institute has become the Tag or Status Symbol.

You will not see any Teaching Assistant to your Professor in your college.

You will see students as well as Teachers who have the Bollywood Knowledge at an extreme level.

We can understand that Fraction of students need tuitions such as students upto going primary schools as they are not able to cope up with the pace of the School as Teachers have to complete the vast syllabus on time and also their both parents are working and they do not able to find the time for teaching their children on the regular basis.

In college, Nobody is really interested and you can't see them studying in the classroom or library. Students just leave the college as soon as they attend the lecture and you see the whole class room and library is just vacant. That is very strange, as the purpose of college is not fulfilling completely.

These private colleges have been opening in India immensely. These have to be collaborated with the foreign universities and the teachers of Indian colleges should be sent to foreign universities for the training. Indian colleges also must grasp the Educational philosophy of the foreign university.

I was just commuting through one of the highways in Delhi and I came across one large Hoarding in which one of the private colleges has been showcasing that one of its students got a 1 crore package.

You will see in the class only generally toppers will ask the doubt from the teacher but the average students and slow learners will not ask the doubts. This is the general pattern you will see almost everywhere.

The main reason for the misery of the student life is the excess fees of the private college and after graduating from the college not everyone is getting a job.

Recursive marketing either physically or digitally has molded our thoughts to such an extent that we are not able to think on our own, almost all thoughts in some way have preconditioned with marketing.

At the time of my 4th year, I was reading one research paper on bipedal robotics. I had some doubts about the Research paper so I went to one of my professors. That prof just criticized me and demotivated me for this Research paper and even she was just scared after seeing the bulky mathematical equations in the paper and Indirectly calling me to not implement this Research paper. So, I think you might encounter such profs in your college, if you go with some world-class research paper to them.

Everybody is searching and working hard to join the best college or school in the world but No body is taking his or her responsibility to become the best, if they don't get the best college or school.

you will see people talking with each other about the parodies of their surroundings.

If you are hitting marks in subjects then it means you have trumped everything.

In most of the cases we have seen that if a student fails in a subject or fails entirely for the year in a class then he or she faces a kind of seclusion from other students and teachers that he or she is dull and not worthwhile. Such things make him mentally harassed and also lose his interest in academics. As a result very very few students were able to bounce back this seclusion and came out with the new energy and new passion and new enthusiasm.

Sadly, you can see the new phenomenon prevailing that students studying in the college are taking outside tuitions for subjects which they are not able to master well in the college class room and this thing is not just bound to the engineering colleges but also to the commerce colleges etc.

I think too much dependency on tuition and coaching institutes are not a good thing in the long-term.

Most people have the static mindset.

Most of the students whom you have seen in normal private engineering colleges are doing extremely well in service provider companies and the main key of their success is cracking maximum certifications of the trending technologies.

I think plagiarism is also one of the epidemic which is deviating the students and researchers from going into quality and creative path.

The importance and self-respect of school teachers or college teachers has been diminishing at a very large rate as comparison to coaching institutes teachers, that's why students do not give importance to the lectures of their school teacher or college teacher.

You will not see any good or great companies coming into college for placements.

Even most of the time the college director will not give you the NOC(No Objection Certificate), when you are in the 4th year, if suppose you are selected in the company in the years of college itself.

You are just fully on your own feet for the placement and applying off campus is the final choice you will have.

Professors will just see you with the open mouth, when suppose you got the package of 9 lakhs because for them 9 lakhs is the out of the blue package for placement.

Sadly, professors and even directors, do not have the practical exposure of the market outside, and even they do not try to fill that gap on their own. I think teacher training is a must for upgrading their knowledge because they still have traditional knowledge which they impart to students. Many hours and energy of the students as well as Teachers are wasted when they give lectures because their lectures are not relevant to the Industry. As a result, students having self-doubt on their own capabilities and ultimately most of the students take the plunge into taking the coaching classes for the required skill and just intermingled into the never-ending loop of the coaching industry until they get their final destination.

One pattern you will see is that no student really wants to sit in the classroom and even as soon as Teachers ends class. The students just ran away from the class. Students are very much interested in bunking the class. I don't understand one thing if student has paid large amount of fees in the college then why they are not interested in attending the class. Presumably, you will see groupism here. I think there has to be a one-to-one dialog between student and teacher. Students should talk frankly with their teachers and vice-versa on the topic of bunk. Teachers must adapt himself so that the students take interest in his lectures. It should not be a one-sided game, but I will say the clap must be rung with both hands. More and more use of digital platforms should be used in teaching that will help the student as well as teacher in saving their time and energy as well as imparting their thoughts in real time.

Suppose, if the class is of 1 hour then half an hour should be used in the theory, and the other half an hour should be used in the practical.

You will see misguidance at the extreme level by digital marketing.

Students will face so much academic pressure in normal school or college so that you have to just go straight, performing well in your academics, and if you tried somehow indulge more in extra-curricular or in practicals, then you have to face the immense boycott from professors and authority in return you can get less marks in the G.P(Grade Points).

Education has adulterated so much because of not upgraded faculties in the Institutions. As a result, students are misguided into taking the wrong path in their carriers.

You will see your library at the college, almost vacant except some days before or in the midst of exams.

Teacher should impart education to students not in business terms but in terms of nation-building in their mind-set by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam(Former President of India & Renowned Scientist)
